Humbled by the honor, Wayne Murray expressed appreciation to the WCR for the opportunity to serve, noting that the company and its people are very active in the Ft. Bend community through the WCR, and are involved in and committed to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance, both the Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Fun Run and Champion the Cure, the kids at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital-- and many other charities and neighborhood activities.

Realtors from Weichert in Katy Set for 'Mondays with Mommy' Community Activity Series

Katy, TEXAS, October 14, 2014—WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties’ Natalie O’Dea, sales leader/manager of the agency’s Fort Bend area offices (Katy and Sugar Land), and Maria Puente, a professional Realtor with Weichert’s Katy office, have coordinated  appearances at the fall series titled “Mondays With Mommy.”

“Mondays with Mommy” is sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus and is held on the first Monday of every month through December at La Centerra at Cinco Ranch, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Katy, located in Heritage Square. ‘Team Weichert’ Raises Funds for Candlelighters Camp CLIFF; Local Agency is Joined by Global Weichert® Corporate Entities in Fun Walk

HOUSTON, September 24, 2014—“Team Weichert,” consisting of agents and staff members from WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties, together with representatives from the global corporate entities of Weichert Workforce Mobility and Weichert Corporate Housing, participated in the annual Candlelighters Fun Walk held September 6 in Houston.

Following the release of balloons in memory of a child with cancer, participants walked or ran the course at Terry Hershey Park to raise more than $15,000 for the Candlelighters Camp CLIFF, the organization’s annual family camp for children with cancer and their families.  More information about Candlelighters, Childhood Cancer Family Alliance is available at www.candle.org.

Wayne Murray Properties Announces 2013 National Honorees

HOUSTON, April 16, 2014—WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties has announced the company’s 2013 award winners. Eighteen high achievers were honored by the national franchise organization, Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. (WREA), at a banquet on Thursday, April 3, at The Junior League of Houston Inc. ballroom.

Topping the list from the Houston-headquartered agency were Ann Magoon, Crystal Lucas, Kelley Talasek, Kendyl Maurer, Sherry Glazener, Susan Bolz, and Vicki Haislup, inductees into the WREA 2013 President’s Club, followed by Karen Archer, Kathy Albright, and Steven Emery, inductees into the WREA 2013 Ambassador Club, then Claudia Ruggiero, Cynthia Olivier, and Lindsey Carroll-Kimble, WREA 2013 Executive Club. These are the three top categories of awards to agents presented annually. The WREA 2013 Sales Achievement Award was earned by Abigail Davis, Carl Su, Debny Greenlee, Kim Newby, and Tracy Faultry.

All awards are based on minimum requirement per award category in gross commission income or units earned in 2013. Agents earned their recognition from among associates in 37 states at year’s end.

Awards were also presented by the Weichert South Texas and South Louisiana Broker Council. Sherry Glazener was recognized as the Top Overall Associate and both Top Selling Associate in GCI (gross commission income) and Top Selling Associate in Units for the year. Kendyl Maurer was the Council’s Top Listing Associate in both Units and GCI. Claudia Ruggiero and Lindsey Carroll-Kimble shared “Rookie of the Year” honors.

Holmes of the company’s Houston office earned a Texas Real Estate Broker License in Houston in February. Already a Realtor with six years of experience, a practicing attorney, and a real estate investor, he is now qualified to head a real estate company.

A resident of the area since 1977, Holmes assists residential and commercial property buyers and sellers in Central and West Houston. He lives in Houston and is a member of the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR), Texas Association of REALTORS® (TAR), and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). In addition, he is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the Realty Investment Club of Houston (RICH), for which he is a frequent speaker.
Holmes serves the community as Second Reader of the Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist, and president of the Barkley Square Civic Association, Inc.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Principia College in Elsah, Ill., and a J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston.
