HOLMES EARNS TEXAS BROKER LICENSE
HOUSTON, April 3,
2014—WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties
has announced that Realtor Michael S. Holmes of the company’s Houston office earned
a Texas Real Estate Broker License in Houston in February. Already a Realtor
with six years of experience, a practicing attorney, and a real estate
investor, he is now qualified to head a real estate company.
A resident of the
area since 1977, Holmes assists residential and commercial property buyers and
sellers in Central and West Houston. He lives in Houston and is a member of the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR), Texas
Association of REALTORS® (TAR), and the National Association of REALTORS®
(NAR). In addition, he is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar
Association, and the Realty Investment Club of Houston (RICH), for which he is
a frequent speaker.
Holmes serves the community as Second Reader of the Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist, and president of the Barkley Square Civic Association, Inc.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Principia College in Elsah, Ill., and a J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston.
In 2012 Holmes earned a Wayne Murray Realtor Achievement Award. Broker license qualifications require that an agent hold aTexas Salesperson License for at least four years in the state of Texas or have a current Broker’s License from another state. The agent must also meet educational requirements, which include 900 hours of real estate education.
