Wayne Murray Properties Announces 2013 National Honorees

HOUSTON, April 16, 2014—WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties has announced the company’s 2013 award winners. Eighteen high achievers were honored by the national franchise organization, Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. (WREA), at a banquet on Thursday, April 3, at The Junior League of Houston Inc. ballroom.

Topping the list from the Houston-headquartered agency were Ann Magoon, Crystal Lucas, Kelley Talasek, Kendyl Maurer, Sherry Glazener, Susan Bolz, and Vicki Haislup, inductees into the WREA 2013 President’s Club, followed by Karen Archer, Kathy Albright, and Steven Emery, inductees into the WREA 2013 Ambassador Club, then Claudia Ruggiero, Cynthia Olivier, and Lindsey Carroll-Kimble, WREA 2013 Executive Club. These are the three top categories of awards to agents presented annually. The WREA 2013 Sales Achievement Award was earned by Abigail Davis, Carl Su, Debny Greenlee, Kim Newby, and Tracy Faultry.

All awards are based on minimum requirement per award category in gross commission income or units earned in 2013. Agents earned their recognition from among associates in 37 states at year’s end.

Awards were also presented by the Weichert South Texas and South Louisiana Broker Council. Sherry Glazener was recognized as the Top Overall Associate and both Top Selling Associate in GCI (gross commission income) and Top Selling Associate in Units for the year. Kendyl Maurer was the Council’s Top Listing Associate in both Units and GCI. Claudia Ruggiero and Lindsey Carroll-Kimble shared “Rookie of the Year” honors.

Weichert Realtor Earns Broker License

WEICHERT, REALTORS® –WAYNE MURRAY AGENT AND ATTORNEY HOLMES EARNS TEXAS BROKER LICENSE

HOUSTON, April 3, 2014—WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Wayne Murray Properties has announced that Realtor Michael S. Holmes of the company’s Houston office earned a Texas Real Estate Broker License in Houston in February. Already a Realtor with six years of experience, a practicing attorney, and a real estate investor, he is now qualified to head a real estate company.

A resident of the area since 1977, Holmes assists residential and commercial property buyers and sellers in Central and West Houston. He lives in Houston and is a member of the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR), Texas Association of REALTORS® (TAR), and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). In addition, he is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the Realty Investment Club of Houston (RICH), for which he is a frequent speaker.
Holmes serves the community as Second Reader of the Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist, and president of the Barkley Square Civic Association, Inc.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Principia College in Elsah, Ill., and a J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston.
In 2012 Holmes earned a Wayne Murray Realtor Achievement Award. Broker license qualifications require that an agent hold aTexas Salesperson License for at least four years in the state of Texas or have a current Broker’s License from another state. The agent must also meet educational requirements, which include 900 hours of real estate education.
